Down on the Farm
I hammered out 3 of my 4 finals this morning, so while I had some free time I thought I'd update the goings on of the farm system the last few days.

I think my little "Games without a HR" feature on the left sidebar cursed Eric Duncan, because he's been benched since I put it up (unless he's hurt).

Matt DeSalvo: .2 IP, 0 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 5 BB, 0 K, 1 HB - 18 of 44 pitches were strikes (40.9%), the 5 BB were all consecutive, and all 5 R scored with 2 outs (here's the game log, cause that's a hell of a pitching line)
Matt Childers: 5.1 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K - 6-2 GB/FB ratio
(Sunday: 1-0 win over Norfolk)
Jason Conti: 1 for 3, 1 2B, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 CS

Mindblowing Jose Tabata stat-of-the-day: If you were worried about Tabata's plate discipline after he struck out 17 times and walked only once in his first 15 games, well, Tabs has struck out only 9 times and drawn 5 walks in his last 21 games...while registering 29 H and 17 RBI.
